FINANCES

The Foundation receives its funding and equipment from its members, supportive individuals and organizations. All donations of money and equipment are fully tax-deductible under I.R.S. Guidelines (Section 501(c)(3)), Tax-Exempt Public Educational Foundation.

We have established separate accounts with the Foundation, which are designed to control their use for restoration and operation of a specified aircraft type. You may direct your contribution to a specified aircraft type by designating that "Aircraft Type" Restoration and Operation Fund.

You can also make a direct donation to the Foundation to assist us in preserving these rare aircraft for future generations and in brining them to flying presentation that commemorate the accomplishments of Army Aviation and Veterans.

Ledger

 

The Foundation maintains its Ledger in accordance with standard financial accounting principles. The Ledger is maintained by the Vice President of Finance and reflects all receipts and disbursements. The VP Of Finance routinely reports on the AAHF financial activities to the Membership and Board of Directors.

Budgets

 

The Foundation establishes its budget on an Annual Basis. The budget garners projected expenses from all Foundation entities and expected revenues. The Executive Management and the Board of Directors review the Annual Budget for conformance to established policies and Foundation activities.
